As a forensic alcohol and other drugs (AOD) practitioner, you will help people with criminogenic AOD related needs who are in the criminal justice system. Help deliver clinical interventions: Facilitate group or individual therapy programs for service users with substance abuse issues. Conduct assessments: Administer assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of substance abuse on the service users offending behaviour. Develop and maintain client records: Create and update comprehensive case notes, treatment plans and reports. Collaborate with other professionals: Work with corrections staff and other stakeholders to ensure effective client management. Maintain professional standards: Adhere to ethical guidelines, participate in professional development, and contribute to data collection and team efforts.
