We are seeking a Coordinator Clinical Governance to provide administration support for our Clinical Governance and Performance Department.
This is a Full Time, Fixed Term (Until January 2026) position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Blackburn North in line with our hybrid working model.
Reporting to the Director Clinical Governance and Performance, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
Support the delivery of the Best Care strategy and AVs clinical governance framework
Monitor progress of actions and reporting, to support the delivery of AVs Quality and Safety annual plan
Prepare high level executive papers, presentations and reports for the Executive, Board and Board subcommittee and other relevant clinical governance committees
Proactively ensure the patient is at the centre of all organisational strategies, and initiatives are aimed at assuring patient safety and continuously improving patient care outcomes
Contribute to the development of the Quality Account and or other public reporting of AVs Quality and Safety performance
To be considered for this position you will possess a degree or relevant industry certification with proven subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience (preferably in the accreditation of National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards). Other requirements include:
Demonstrated experience working within the healthcare industry
Proven team building skills, with a history of building collaborative work practice to achieve organisational goals
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to prepare high level reports
Demonstrated conceptual and problem-solving skills to improve processes, approaches and thinking
Proficiency in audit tools and IT systems such as Microsoft Office, particularly Power Point, Excel, and Outlook, use of reporting tools/software
Demonstrated experience in use of business process improvement methodologies
