It integrates innovative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement. We are seeking an experienced Training Developer, to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program.  The Australian Apaches will join the growing global fleet of more than 1280 aircraft operating in 18 countries, including coalition and regional partners. This role is based in Oakey working alongside the Army customer. As a Training Developer you will:  Conduct training needs analysis to identify customer training requirements Design, develop, facilitate and evaluate technical training materials for program customers Develop and design courses, curriculum and training / instructional materials (including learning objectives, assessment criteria, instructor guides, student handouts, etc.) Collaborate with subject experts to develop course content Develop innovative, relevant and engaging training solutions Evaluate and update training materials in response to feedback and continuous improvement initiatives Support training delivery Effective engagement with customer representatives and subject matter experts About you  To be successful in this role you will have:  Demonstrated experience in the analysis, design, development and evaluation of training (experience in complex Training Needs Analysis) Experience in Training Design /Curriculum Development/Learning Development Strong technical skill and a high level of proficiency in digital media learning e.g. Articulate Storyline and the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud software applications Strong understanding of the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) or a Defence Training background Ability to communicate effectively within a creative team environment and with technical Subject Matter Experts Exceptional time management, communication and consultation skills Ability to work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.   What's on offer?  BDA provides people, expertise, process and tools to manage aircraft design, repair and continuing airworthiness capabilities supporting program execution and growth opportunities.
