In addition to being responsible for administrative law matters, Legal Services is involved in criminal and civil matters, advises on complex or novel regulatory environment matters. We work closely with ASIC's stakeholder, strategy and registry teams. Legal Services also advises the Commission and others on law reform, major contracts and gives opinions on legal rights and responsibilities.   As a Hearing Delegate, you will Conduct ASIC hearings and make administrative decisions on behalf of ASIC. Chair and be a joint decision-maker in Financial Services and Credit Panel matters, as well as in Liquidator registration and disciplinary committee matters. Assist the Markets Disciplinary Panel. Draft clear, well-reasoned, and legally sound decisions. Review areas of concern, assessing factual material from various sources and conducting comprehensive research. Contribute to law reform initiatives. Support ASIC stakeholder teams by providing professional feedback on administrative briefs.   You will also demonstrate: Legal qualifications. Extensive administrative and corporate law experience. Proven ability to manage administrative hearings objectively. In-depth knowledge of legal industry, administrative laws, and emerging risks. Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and exercise judgment in evolving environments.
