About the role We are looking for a Storeperson to join the team to ensure the smooth operation of our wool handling facility based at Ravenhall. Working at our purpose-built wool selling centre, this role will contribute to the smooth operations of our facility by efficiently operating the testing machines and ensuring the safe movement of wool bales throughout the wool-handling facility. You will be working in a new, state-of-the-art facility with all the support and technology at your fingertips to ensure your success. ResponsibilitiesUnloading and loading of trucks by forklift Marking up of bales in preparation for testing Ensure bales are labelled, recorded and branded accurately to ensure minimal errors Help in the operation of the testing equipment Adjusts over and under-weight bales as required Marking up bales in preparation for shipping Work collaboratively with other members Additional wool store duties are part of this role to help deliver team outcomes About youDrivers and forklift licenceExperience loading and unloading trucks with a forklift An understanding of warehouse storage and operations The ability to learn and adapt in a team environmentBe a true team player with a can-do attitudeA safe work ethic is criticalSome basic computer skillsAbout EldersAs a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
