About the role We are seeking a Support Officer Livestock to join the Moura Dip team on a permanent, full-time basis. Joining a close-knit team, providing the local community with Farm Supplies, Agronomic, Livestock, Real Estate and Insurance & Finance support, you will play an integral role in the branch's operations as the first point of contact for our livestock clients engaging with Elders.Working closely with the Dip and Saleyard Manager, Livestock and Sales Processing teams, you will support the sales team during the execution of sales through the entire end to end process including coordinating trucking of cattle both on arrival and departure and livestock movements on site in a safe and orderly manner. Responsibilities As a Support Officer Livestock, you will:Support the livestock team on sale days as required, including ensuring records of stock soldOversee registration, record-keeping, and data entry of livestock consignments and salesProvide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptlyAssist with organising and promoting upcoming sales events and auctionsWorking constructively with other team members to support a collaborative culture About you To succeed at Elders, you have: Previous experience handling livestock in a low stress manner including dipping, weighing and loading trucksUnderstanding of livestock sales processing and tick clearing certificate (advantage)Strong communication skills, both written and verballyProficiency using computers and the Microsoft suite and NLIS Data base, with the ability to learn new systemsDemonstrated customer service experience - with the ability to build and maintain relationshipsAbout EldersAs a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
