The role is based at RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland and will support a diverse team on an exciting and rewarding programs. Structures aircraft and component servicing Provide direction and supervision as necessary Undertake structures Quality Inspection activities Completion of assigned tasks by undertaking a variety of activities, requiring the application of training provided in accordance with the appropriate documentation Contribute to improvements in the performance of the team Ensuring all maintenance tasks carried out are IAW the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures Liaise with 21J Design Organisation and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation in relation to repair design and incorporation Be available for both A Shift and B Shift, rostering in rotation with other section members  Experience/Qualifications Certificate IV in Aero skills (Structures) Be able to demonstrate an understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) procedures Hold or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1 Meet the security requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures Hold a C class driver's license Elevated Work Platform TLILIC2005A or equivalent Work Safely at Heights RIIOHS204A or equivalent Composite repair training IAW DASR 145.A.30(f) AMC1.
