Learn more about our extraordinary teams building inspiring projects in our Impact Report.  Job Summary: In this role, you will use 2-D/3-D computer-aided design (CAD) to develop design models for civil/structural engineering systems such as earthwork, drainage, road design and foundation. You will assist with the development of work plans and review work prepared by designers/drafters. Your work will help ensure civil/structural designs are high quality, accurate, complete, and in compliance.  Major Responsibilities: Develops designs for civil/structural engineering systems such as earthwork, drainage, road design, foundation, and steel detailing with minimum supervision from which detailed scale models and/or construction drawings are completed​.  Assists in constructing detailed scale models.​  Ensures compliance with approved civil/structural design standards in own work and by those assigned, to provide quality design​.  Reviews and checks calculations, design models, drawings and design documents prepared by assigned designers/drafters for quality, accuracy, neatness, functionality and satisfactory completion.​  Participates in constructability reviews​. Other responsibilities as designated. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a University Graduate with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge and Skills: Front end engineering and master planning experience preferred. Skill in reading, interpreting and using related documents and drawings prepared by other project groups. Proven experience in engineering design tools such as MicroStation V8i and Connect, Inventor, AutoCAD, Open Plant, SmartPlant and Navisworks Simulate.
