We look to hire the best and then help you to become even better. **Technician Mechanical** + $5k Sign on Bonus + Full time position We are seeking experienced **Technician Mechanical** to join our dynamic workshop team based in Perth. **Key Responsibilities:** **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Deliver first-class service to our customers + Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products  + Diagnose and repair Cummins engines + Engine rebuilding and reconditioning + Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety&Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Supervisor + Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, warranty claims, quality forms or business system input screens. **Qualifications and Competencies** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + WA driver’s licence + Australian working rights + Mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light vehicle mechanic or plant mechanic (light/heavy/engine reconditioning) + Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products + Ideally possess engine repair, rebuild or reconditioning experience. + Safety Focused and the ability to work effectively in a team environment **_At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace. applies basic electrical theories and electronics components knowledge using appropriate tools and procedures to diagnose and repair products safely and efficiently. + **Electronic Service Tool Application:** Identifies the suite of available hardware and software tools required for a service event; utilizes the appropriate electronic tool set to maintain the product or diagnose and troubleshoot an issue; interprets electronic tool results or recommendations to determine next steps for service resolution. + **Mechanical Knowledge:** Demonstrates knowledge of Cummins and industry standards by complying with all safe work procedures including Personal Protective Equipment to create a safe work environment; applies mechanical principles and theories using appropriate tools and procedures todiagnose and repair products safely and efficiently. + **Product Repair and Maintenance:** Repairs and maintains mechanical/electrical products following guidelines, using required tools within standard repair time to ensure a quality repair; disassembles and assembles engines or power generators following guidelines, using required tools to ensure a clean and organized environment; inspects and replaces parts and components following re-use guidelines to minimize customers' cost of ownership; performs progressive damage check following guidelines to restore to pre-failure condition.+ **Service Documentation:** Creates and verifies customer, equipment, and technical information; captures specific data using required service tools; follows procedures and documents required information in the service management system to have an accurate record of the work done. + **Technical Escalation:** Obtains product technical issue information and utilizes available resources including data management tools;
