This is a hands-on role that looks after all aspects of the finance function one of our biggest agencies, supporting the CFO. Management Accounting Management of company finances from start to finish [involves data input] Ensuring that Budgets and Forecasts are accurately prepared in a timely manner Delivering profit forecasts, budgeting and financial reporting Working closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate reforecasts Financial Accounting Ensuring monthly balance sheet reconciliations are accurate Full ownership of P&L Accurate and timely reporting of financial results to both local management and US parent company (Omnicom Group Inc) Oversight of internal process, procedure and controls Managing all audit relationships (external, SBOX, client) Continuous improvement of financial systems Completion of a consolidation and preparation of annual statutory accounts Preparation of monthly BAS Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax Returns Preparation of Annual Consolidated Income Tax Returns Management and review of payroll costs Preferably a qualified accountant/on the way to CA/CPA/CIMA completion Ability to plan and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines Ability to work autonomously and take initiative Mature, energetic and hard working with a good sense of humour and strong interpersonal communication skills Computer proficient and literate with accounting and reporting packages Spectra PF experience advantageous but not essential Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience advantageous but not essential Experience in all aspects of accounting for a small to medium sized business Experience in service industry a benefit Prepared to always get hands dirty and get amongst the number and paperwork to get the job done Please note: All applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
