CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed serious sex and violent offences on post sentence supervision, and prisoners on parole.
Advanced Practitioners within the court case management stream of CCS will manage a case load of predominately complex and high-risk individuals who have committed offences. This involves conducting risk assessments, preparing case plans, providing interventions, proactively challenging offending behaviours, addressing the underlying factors in offending whilst directing, and monitoring compliance with court order obligations. This role must also support individuals to successfully complete their court orders, while balancing risks to community safety.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage a caseload of predominately complex and high-risk individuals
Motivate and influence staff in best case management practice
Produce written reports with appropriate analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Apply sound judgement in the identification and assessment of individual risk
Develop and maintain relationships with cross-government and community-based stakeholders
Please note there are 2 positions available:
1x Ongoing role primarily based at Rosebud
1x Fixed Term role until 2 March 2026 primarily based at Frankston
Please note that while each position has a primary work location the successful candidates will be required to work flexibly across both locations.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of best practice case management frameworks including managing clients with complex presentations and conducting risk and needs assessments in a human services context.
Ability to implement theoretical concepts to reduce risk and maximise individual outcomes.
Demonstrated understanding and capability in leading, managing and developing staff responsible for operational service delivery
Pays attention to words, expression and body language; recognises behaviours that promote a culture of inclusion
