In addition to compelling clinical work, we offer:  flexible work options  mental health and wellbeing support  relocation allowances for eligible candidates  limited travel requirements, with most of your work carried out onsite.  What you will do  As a disability support worker at Western Plains, you will help the people in your care get the everyday assistance and guidance they need. You will work closely with staff, external services and disability programs – like the NDIS – to improve outcomes for people in custody. Put support plans into action and ensure they are working well. Help people in custody access disability services, both in prison and in the community. Collaborate with case managers, clinical staff and custodial teams to coordinate care. Assist with NDIS applications, appeals and planning meetings. Keep accurate records and contribute to staff training on disability support. A current Victorian driver's licence is required. Relevant tertiary qualification or experience in the field of allied health is highly desirable. Experience within the disability sector is desirable.
