Join our team at Ringwood Family Relationship Centre (FRC) where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting families through all stages of their relationships, including during separation. As a Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), you’ll conduct assessments and facilitate sessions with separating and separated parents, focusing on the best interests of the children involved as defined in legislation.
You’ll have the opportunity to provide assessment and mediation relating to financial and property matters, assessing suitability and ongoing needs, conducting risk assessments, and engaging support or specialist services as required. This role also includes assisting with intake and facilitating general information sessions, with the chance to co-facilitate the Parenting Orders Program Group.
At Ringwood FRC, you’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to provide a suite of services to our clients, including counseling and child-inclusive practice. With a negotiated limited hybrid office-based and work-from-home option available, you’ll have the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual who can expertly navigate complex family dynamics and legal frameworks. The ideal candidate will excel in engaging with clients in high-conflict situations, employing a range of strategies to facilitate productive discussions and document agreements.
They must be a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Attorney General’s Department. They will possess a keen ability to assess risks and maintain a future-focused approach, all while supporting clients in developing healthier communication strategies.
Neutrality, effective communication, and cultural sensitivity are paramount, as is the capacity to manage challenging situations with empathy and respect. The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in client service, with strong organizational skills and a proactive, innovative mindset.

• Current Registration as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner
• Completion of a Criminal History Check and Employee Working With Children Check prior to commencement of employment as well as a duty to disclose relevant information that may arise after employment has commenced.
