Contribute to delivering on ASIC's purpose, vision, and strategic priorities to help maintain the integrity of the financial system and protect consumers from harm.   Provide strategic communication guidance and support to key client groups, shaping impactful messaging that enhances ASIC's regulatory and stakeholder engagement initiatives. $123,444 - $144,386 (plus 15.4% superannuation) Applications close at 11:59pm ADST, Thursday 13 March 2025   The team  The Communications & Corporate Affairs Group is responsible for leading ASIC's communications and stakeholder engagement including internal, corporate and external communications, as well as digital and social channels, including Moneysmart. Its purpose is to build and leverage strategic stakeholder relationships to drive engagement, awareness and understanding of ASIC's mandate. The Group Communications team is accountable for designing, developing and delivering integrated communication strategies and plans to support ASIC in achieving key strategic and priority objectives.   As a Communications Adviser, you will: support one or more of ASIC's regulatory teams to effectively communicate their work and its impact advise and support senior executives in specific industry sector/s on communications strategy, engagement and tactics create and execute integrated communications plans to support the corporate and business plans, as well as the strategic and regulatory priorities of your regulatory team/s plan, write, edit and proofread high-quality content and messaging against tight and often competing deadlines, including media releases, speeches, FAQs, explainers and other assets as required in collaboration with the External Communications team, identify and realise proactive media opportunities as well as manage reactive media enquiries identify and build relationships with external stakeholders and industry associations to deliver content and collateral relevant to their members monitor and evaluate communications to drive continuous improvement.   We are looking for someone with the ability to take a strategic approach to the execution of effective external communications for a complex organisation, preferably gained in financial services, professional services or government. Your professional written communication skills and experience creating content for a range of channels will be key to your success in this role. You will need strong relationship and project management skills and the ability to work under pressure, manage high work volumes and display sound judgment.   View the position description for more information or click ‘apply' to start your application.
