Starting Salary – $85,000 while training, increase to $100,000 once meeting KPI (approx. 6 months) Location– Canberra office-based. You will be required to work in a Top Secret environment and due to the sensitive and highly classified nature of the information seen and the work completed, working from home cannot be accommodated. Anticipated start date– April – June 2025 Your role will be a Security Vetting Analyst where you will make assessments and recommendations about an individual’s suitability to hold the highest level of security clearance in federal government. As a Security Vetting Analyst you will: Undertake the vetting security clearance process for allocated cases within specified timeframes. Research, organise and conduct face-to-face interviews. Perform detailed analysis and assessment and make recommendations in a high-level written report of a candidate’s suitability to hold a security clearance. Identify and assess risks and anomalies. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a high attention to detail and accuracy, and high levels of integrity and discretion. Eligibility requirements  Australian citizenship. The ability to have or obtain an NV2 national security clearance initially and PV/TSPA in the future.
