**DESCRIPTION** **Diesel Mechanic - Workshop - Emerald** **• Competitive Hourly Rate + $15k Sign on + OT paid at penalty rates+ remote location +bonus +super** **• Early daily shift (8am to 4pm)** **• Modern well-equipped facility** We have an opportunity for a talented Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance across on-highway, construction, mining, and agriculture customers based at our Emerald branch. Let Cummins train you to be an engine expert. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** • Complete repairs and maintenanceof heavy diesel products • Diagnose and repair various engines • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and components **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** • Australian recognised mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Plant mechanic. Light vehicle with heavy vehicle experience may also be considered • Previous repairs and maintenance experience with On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture applications is desirable but not essential • Kenworth, Western Star, Hitachi, Komatsu&Liebherr experience highly desirable **At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
