Full-time employment: 1-year traineeship with salary Fully funded qualification: Certificate III in Business Real experience: Work onsite with the Western Bulldogs across multiple departments Supportive workplace: Guidance from experienced supervisors Employment support: Dedicated Employment Coach and mentor As a First Nations AFL Trainee, you’ll provide high-quality support across departments including Consumer, Marketing, Communications, Commercial Operations, the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation and the AFL Men’s and AFLW Football Departments. Key responsibilities include: Responding to customer enquiries and managing data in a central database system Supporting membership sales through inbound and outbound communication channels Assisting with marketing campaigns, including creating briefs and social media content to boost crowd attendance for AFL and AFLW games Supporting match day activations, community engagement activities and sponsor benefits Assisting with planning and delivering health and wellbeing programs for the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation Providing administrative support to the AFL Men’s and AFLW Football Departments This role offers the chance to gain experience in fan engagement, community program management and match day operations while working closely with multiple teams in a dynamic AFL environment.
