This role requires effective internal and customer communications skills and the ability to recruit, retain, engage and task the Aircraft Structures, Mechanical Systems, Aircraft Structural Integrity and Propulsion Structural Integrity engineering workforce. As such, this role requires the ability to work closely with a broad range of stakeholders including Boeing, suppliers, customer program and technical leaders within the RAAF P-8 program. As an Aircraft Structures & Asset Integrity Manager within BDA, you will; Lead planning and delivery of Structures, Systems and Asset Integrity services required to meet RAAF P-8 Enterprise objectives, Balance priorities across the total P-8 Business and broader BDA Engineering community, Monitor and report team performance (people, processes & tools) required to meet both short- and long-range business plans, Consistently record and report key Engineering performance metrics as set by the Customer, PM and P-8 Engineering Manager. Ensure timely resourcing, investigation and decision making associated with key technical issue resolution and project help needed. Be responsive to the RAAF P-8 Chief Engineer for ensuring the safety and quality of Engineering Products & Services. To be considered for the role you will: Have experience leading the successful engineering execution of large or complex projects.
