The Facilities Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the buildings and facilities of an organization are maintained properly. This includes the upkeep of all physical spaces, equipment, and utilities to meet health and safety protocols. The role requires a combination of technical knowledge, practical skills, and customer service orientation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct daily inspections of the buildings, facilities, and equipment to identify any issues that may require maintenance or repair.
- Schedule and coordinate regular cleaning, servicing, and repair of equipment such as HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and other building systems.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, repairing fixtures, and painting.
