Job Description
Are you an experienced Account Manager with a passion for the packaging industry? We are seeking a dynamic professional to manage and expand a customer base for a leading Foam Packaging Manufacturer with a turnover of£83 million, backed by a world-renowned partner.
Regional Account Manager – Foam Packaging Manufacturer
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000
Benefits: Car allowance (up to £6,000), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, healthcare, life insurance (2x salary), 4% matched pension, credit card, laptop, opportunities for career growth, salary increases of 5-10% year-on-year.
Location: Northwest England (including areas up to Wolverhampton).
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of 50 existing clients, including key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and excellent customer satisfaction.
Prospectand identify new business opportunities within your designated region (Northwest, including Wolverhampton, and occasional travel to Northern Ireland).
Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across your territory.
Retain and grow accounts based on strong rapport andrelationship-building.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
About You:
Has proven experience in account management or sales, ideally within the packaging or related sectors.
Possesses strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Is self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
Can manage a portfolio of clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Is comfortable with regional travel and occasionally visiting Northern Ireland.
