Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Intensive Housing Worker to join our team. The role involves providing support and assistance to individuals in need of housing services. Working in a 29 bed hostel, supporting clients who have been referred via local councils due to being at risk of homelessness. Clients may struggle with mental health and/or substance misuse. Shifts include 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm and 8am-8pm. Duties: - Conduct room and building checks. - Conduct risk assessments - Communicate with clients - Provide ongoing support to clients in maintaining their housing stability - Provide support to support officers - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with agency standards Requirements: - Proven experience working in a social services or housing support role - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with individuals facing housing challenges This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need of stable housing.
