General Election - Customer Service Advisor Westminster Full time: 36.00/hrs a week£19/hr Start date: ASAP AKTON Recruitment is working closely with the local authorities and we are looking for a Cuso0tmer Service Advisor in the Westminster area to join their team as part of a short term contract to help out during the General Election period. Short-Term Role Covering Electoral Services and General Queries for the General Election Work location: Onsite in Victoria Duration: 6 Weeks Job Description: We are seeking two individuals to provide high-quality customer service to both internal and external customers through various contact channels, including telephony, email, social media, and web chat. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver excellent customer service. * Maintain and develop knowledge and skills to support first-contact resolution for customer inquiries. * Actively participate as part of the Customer Service team to manage customer contact. * Embrace continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer journey. Essential Experience: * Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service. * Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, capable of meeting targets and deadlines under daily pressure. * Experience in handling difficultcustomers and maintaining professionalism in resolving their concerns/meeting their needs. Desirable Experience: * Experience working within the public sector. * Experience in service delivery in a contact centre or customer-facing environment. * Customer-focused with the ability to communicateeffectively with stakeholders internally and externally. * Well-developed questioning and listening skills, with the ability to communicate with empathy and clarity by phone and across digital platforms. * Proficient in written and spoken English. * Effective use of communication skills and reinforcement techniques to confirm understanding during non-facing customer interactions. * Demonstrates patience and calmness when dealing with customer conflict and challenges. * Ability to quickly understand and respond to customers' needs, showing empathy and understanding. * Confident in using a rangeof digital platforms to resolve customer queries. * Ability to use an appropriate tone of voice in all communications that reflect the organisation's brand. * Good keyboard skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. * Enthusiastic team player with a positive and flexible approach. * Ability to acquire knowledge quickly and handle diverse inquiries of varying difficulty.
