Are you looking for a new Electronic Test Engineer & x2013 Optics opportunity based in Wales If you are an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Test Engineer & x2013 Optics to join a global leading electronics company in their Wales based manufacturing site Due to continued growth they are seeking an Electronic Test Engineer & x2013 Optics who will have the opportunity to work on the development of a range of products including optic components high power optical amplifiers and optical transmitter sub-systems with applications across multiple markets Key responsibilities include Develop and execute test plans procedures and instructions based on customer requirements Configure test setups fixtures and instrumentation Operate automated and manual test equipment including data acquisition systems and environmental chambers Write test reports and ensure calibrated equipment compliance Design and deploy test fixtures and develop new test equipment Key skills experience required Degree or PhD in Engineering or Physics with Optics Photonics or Fibre optics bias Provable relevant experience within the optics photonics industry Commercial experience in testing electronic products with optical and mechanical components Experience with optical and mechanical components Experience with LabVIEW or similar automation tools Hands-on experience building and testing fibre-optic components or opto-electronic modules
