Job Advertisement  Position: Surfacing Operations Support Location: Reading, UK Salary: Up to £30,000   About Us: My client is a surfacing company dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to otheir clients. With a focus on excellence and innovation, they are committed to providing exceptional servicein every project we undertake.   The Role: They are seeking a dynamic and versatile Operations Support professional to join their team. Reporting directly to the Ops Director, you will play a crucial role in supporting various operational tasks and maintaining efficient processes within the organization.   Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Ops Director with day-to-day activities and administrative tasks. - Coordinate tasks with team members and external stakeholders. - Provide support to commercial managers by gathering and organizing information, including site visits and maintaining records. - Utilize software tools such as Eque 2 and Evaluate after initial training. - Continuously develop through a Personal Development Plan (PDP) provided by the company.   Requirements: - Experience or understanding of the asphalt industry or construction plant operations. - Strong negotiation skills to ensure best value for money when dealing with suppliers. - Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and email. - Ability to work independently and proactively under own initiative. - Must be eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship will not be available. - Good mathematical skills and attention to detail. - Proficient in record-keeping and documentation. - Clean driving licence is essential.   FOOTNOTE: If you feel that you are right for this role technically, but the salary, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please stillfeel free to send us your CV.
