Our Team We want our Asset Management core services, to be fit for purpose and continuously improvedto ensure our Service, Asset&Configuration Management (SACM) platform and processes are best in class. SACM is a crucial process in IT Service Management (ITSM) that ensures the effective management of IT assets and configuration items throughout their lifecycle. We’re looking for a dynamic specialist to join our busy SACM team and lead service discovery activities to ensure all Configuration Items (CIs) and services in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) are accurately mapped, correctly related, and have clearly defined ownership. What you’ll bedoing Lead creation, and ongoing revision, of the Configuration Management Standard and Configuration Management Plan. Ensure compliance with all risk, data and overarching governance requirements. Lead the identification and development of new CI types and data source integration solutions, enhancing the overall Configuration Management framework. Lead the development, implementation, and execution of verification processes, audits, controls, attestations, metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to address data accuracy, reconciliation, normalization, duplication and coverage challenges.Lead the identification, definition and implementation process for Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Oversee the identification and implementation of corrective actions to resolve data-related issues effectively. Manage comprehensive documentation library of all related processes and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency. Lead development and support deliver training materials and sessions to enhance team understanding and compliance with Configuration Management practices. Act as the primary point of contact for strategic Configuration Management, offering support to address inquiries, issues and drive improvement. We need you to have Extensive experience in the design, implementation, support, and enhancement of Configuration Management activities at scale. Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically in managing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Strong understanding of complex enterprise IT technologies, including servers, databases, networks, storage solutions, clusters, and both private and public virtualization. Extensive ITSM experience, particularly in environments where the CMDB integrates with Change, Incident and related ITSM processes. Familiarity with ITIL principles, with ITIL v4 certification highly preferred but not mandatory. In-depth understanding of CMDB concepts, data modelling, hierarchy, and governance principles to ensure data integrity and compliance. Strong data analytical abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving, enabling effective resolution of data-related challenges. Strong skills in the development, implementation and execution of supporting dashboards, controls, metrics, KPI’s and reporting (preferably, but not exclusively, in the ServiceNow platform). SharePoint and PowerBI experience would be a strong advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.   It’s a bonus if you have but not essential Experience of working in the financial services sector. Experience in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) or Software Asset Management (SAM).
