Autism (specifically Pathological Demand Avoidance) Teaching Assistant Rotherham, S60£90 per day Start date: ASAP Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only Unique School Solutions are supporting a Primary School in the S60 area of Rotherham to appoint a Special Needs (SEND) Teaching Assistant towork in KS1. The role will be working 1:1 with a Y2 student who has Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). You will support the student within the classroom and in the schools additional resource unit, under the direction of the teacher. This is a full-time position, working 8:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday. The role is to start in ASAP and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.
