Senior Support Worker Salary 13.40 P/H ( With effect from 1st April 2025) Permanent: Full Time Shifts: 3 x 14 hours shifts per week  Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We’re seeking an individual with senior experience in a similar setting to supervise colleagues, administer medication, lead support planning, manage petty cash and client funds, and act as the point of contact in the absence of site leadership. Good numeracy skills are essential as will need to manage monies. No formal care qualifications required; full training provided, but GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths& English preferred. Candidates should be willing to complete a Level 3 qualification in Team Leadership and Management with Priory. Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, but you'll also have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support. You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you’ll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives. Our teams provide care and support for individuals with different conditions at Priory sites all across the UK. It would be ideal if you have previous experience gainedin a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people’s lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support. Observe, monitor, and recording physical and emotional well-being, with immediate reporting to the management team on site or via the on-call system Encouragement to participate in social and recreational activities, promoting independence  Head a team of Support workers on shift Sapphire House is located in Maidstone, in Kent. The home supports six autistic males and females, who may also have a learning disability. We are on a quiet street, off a main road, near the town centre. Our team are committed to empowering and encouraging the people we care for to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible. Together we will work towards building independent skills and confidence, to assist them in meeting their potential.
