Senior Project Manager - New Build Schools Location: Essex Salary: Up to£100,000 + Car Allowance Company: Tier 1 Main Contractor Recruitment Agency: Hill McGlynn About the Role: Hill McGlynn is delighted to be partnering with a prestigious Tier 1 Main Contractor to recruit for an exceptional Senior Project Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual who has a proven track record as the number 1 on-site Project Manager, specifically with expertise in constructing new build schools and liaising with the Department for Education (DfE). Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of new build school projects frominception through to completion. * Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. * Liaise effectively with the Department for Education (DfE) and other key stakeholders. * Oversee site operations, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to. * Manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers. * Conduct regular progress meetings and report on project status to senior management. Requirements: * Extensive experience as a number 1 on-site Project Manager within the construction industry. * Proven experience in managing new build school projects. * Strong knowledge and experience of liaising with the DfE. * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and workunder pressure. * A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in construction management or a related field.
