Systems Engineer / Engineering Product Support -£50,000 - Slough (Hybrid - 4 days onsite)

Role Overview:
As a Systems Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our product development, guiding projects from inception through to production. You'll craft test objectives, develop robust test strategies, and design automated test plans seamlessly integrated with our CI/CD pipeline. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring our software transitions smoothly into production and excels in real-world applications.
What You'll Do:
Lead Software Transition: Guide our cutting-edge software from development through to production, ensuring a flawless entry into service and tackling any field issues with OEMs/customers.
Technical Support: Be the go-to expert, providing top-notch technical support, troubleshooting customer issues, diagnosing problems, and delivering innovative solutions.
Training&Workshops: Lead and participate in internal and customer-facing training sessions and workshops, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
Project Leadership: Take charge of small to medium-sized projects as the Technical Lead, steering them to success.
Product Requirements: Translate complex product requirements into actionable User Stories, ensuring clarity and precision.
Engineering Excellence: Lead Engineering Trade Studies and Design Reviews, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Automated Testing: Design and implement automated test procedures that set industry standards.
Project Management: Assist the Program Manager in crafting project schedules and managing costs, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Continuous Improvement: Provide valuable feedback to the Product Team, driving ongoing product enhancements and innovations.Who You Are:
You hold a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with at least 2-3 years of experience in Systems Engineering or a related field in the Avionics, Aircraft, and/or Aerospace Defence Industry. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Your Skills and Abilities:
Programming Proficiency: Expertise in Python or other programming languages.
Office Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
Automated Solutions: Proven experience in designing automated solutions using Python.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of Design Partitioning, Digital Communication, and Software Structures.
Agile Acumen: Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
AWS Knowledge: Experience with AWS is a plus.Your Key Competencies:
