This is an exciting role focused (With the Benefice of Hadfield and benefice of Glossop) on deepening relationships with God as two churches of differing traditions come together in collaborative mission across boundaries. We seek an experienced and imaginative priest with a pioneering heart and passion for justice who will love people and: Nurture existing church members in faith and discipleship Train up teams of volunteers to deliver events and projects Help the churches grow younger and reach out to a more diverse group of people forming new community partnerships and worshipping communities Sustain and develop our relationships with schools Authentically grow each church’s unique identity, theology, spirituality and worship tradition Be a visible presence in the community Oversee pastoral care being attentive to the needs of the elderly Support us in becoming financially sustainable, resilient and generous Work across parish boundaries within Glossopdale as part of the Growing Faith hub and supporting pioneering in Gamesley Support and resource churches across the diocese in climate justice and care for creation We offer you a desirable 4 bedroomed home close to amenities but surrounded by incredibly beautiful countryside.
