Mechanical Engineer sought in Britain's Ocean City We are proud to be working aside a highly efficient and passionate design consultancy specialising in Building Services as they expand their Engineering team in the South West, Right now, our client is seeking a driven and motivated individual to join them as a Mechanical Engineer. Required to be possessing relevant degrees, however open to discussions with those holding equivalent M&E construction experience, authority, and varying qualifications.     The Company Established 50+ years’ ago, our client is a ‘Building Top 150 consultancy’ working across the UK and Europe. Daily Duties  Reporting to various Directors; responsible for resourcing within the mechanical team. Managing a team of Engineers including Junior Engineers, Apprentices and Graduates Produce design deliverables (including drawings, specifications&reports) Check calculations and production of detailed drawings to ensure engineering designs meet appropriate quality and compliance controls, project briefs and customer requirements Client-facing, making client presentations on selected projects Plus, all traditional duties expected of a Senior / Associate Engineer What you’ll need BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Engineering or relevant equivalent Demonstrating a minimum of 4 years’ Building Services experience - Contractor or Design side  Understanding of commercial elements of projects Experience in software design including IES,Revit or Hevacomp is highly desired but non-essential Interested? Click APPLY for further information and contact Fiona Blackwell @ Girling Jones for a confidential
