Job Description

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse seeking a fulfilling role? We have partnered with a training practice located in Oxford and have recently formed their own PCN. They are a CQC 'Good' rated practice, serving a total of approx. 30,000 patients with 4 sites in close proximity of one another. They emphasise collaborative working and support each other as a team, encouraging everyone to achieve their work life balance. Position Details: * Job Title: Practice Nurse. * Job Type: Full time or part-time flexible hours available. * Location: Oxford region (you would need to be prepared to work at any of their branch surgeries on a weekly basis). * Salary:£38,000 - £48,000 per annum with an extensive benefits package including personal development opportunities (CPD leave entitlement) plus NHS pension, 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays, on-site parking and much more. * Team: They have a large team, including GP partners, Salaried GPs, Pharmacists, ANPs, a Paramedic, Practice nurses, HCAs and a phlebotomist which are supported by an invaluable admin and reception team. About You: * NMC Registration with experience working in primary care. * General Practice Nurse experience in chronic disease management. * Excellent communication skills, effective time management, ability to work autonomously and as a team member. * Polite, confident, motivated, problem solver with high levels of integrity and loyalty. Main Duties: * Offer advice and administer childhood and adult vaccinations under patient group directions according to national immunisation programmes. * Offer health promotion and lifestyle advice on diet, alcohol intake and exercise. * Offer a holistic approach in monitoring patients with chronic diseases according to NICE guidelines * Perform cervical cytology smear tests, venepuncture, wound management, suture/staple removal, NHS Travel immunisation&ECGs.
