Job Summary:
A recognized technical specialist, the ProjectTechnical Integrator (PTI) has
responsibility for ensuring the design fulfils the complete range of applicable
requirements for the multiple development projects&platforms within their scope. ThePTI is responsible to ensure that the product design meets the Airline, Airframer andCertification technical requirements including weight, reliability and cost.Key responsibilities and duties:
Lead the project Systems Engineering team to ensure a complete set of validated requirements
and completion of all Validation&Verification activities. Use Systems Engineering processes to achieve the product design requirements in
line with the project schedule objective.
Perform gap analysis on the requirements data set to drive a complete product
specification.
Demonstrate compliance with the technical requirements of the projects&platform intheir scope with supporting design&product verification evidence. Ensure the project engineering team maintains a clear understanding of the
requirements for the product and platform across all engineering disciplines.
Ensure use of Model Based Systems Engineering tools&methods to define theproduct and its functions. Support the engineering team to meet the “Right First Time” target based on the
number of changes per drawn part.
Define the requirements&compliance baseline for each major Project milestone. Review and constructively challenge the data from all engineering disciplines to
ensure that they support the project technical objectives.
Support the Project Chief Engineer with customer liaison and management of the
customer's technical&performance expectations. Deliver trade studies when there are cases of conflicting requirements and propose
the best overall solution for the project
Work closely with the Project Chief Engineer
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree inAeronautical, Mechanical,Systems, Electrical, Chemical, Software,or Computer Engineering.DesirableA minimum of 5 years of experience in anengineering development project teamwithin Design, Stress, Manufacturing orCertification Engineering.EssentialExperience in managing and addressingrequirements gaps and trade-offs directlywith stakeholders and engineeringmanagement.EssentialA minimum of 3 year of experience inSystems Engineering requirementsmanagement, validation&verification(V&V).DesirableExperience with using Model BasedSystems Engineering (MBSE) methods todefine operational, functional and physicalrequirements.DesirableExperience in progressing DFMEA with across-functional development team.
