Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports. * Conduct detailed cost analysis and assessments throughout the project lifecycle. * Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions. * Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements. * Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying and addressing deviations from budgetary targets. * Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders. Desired Skills and Experience: * Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field. * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with exposure to M&E (Mechanical&Electrical) projects. * Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail. * Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. * Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Excel, CostX, or QSPro. * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Willingness to travel between our office in South Shields and various project sites across the North East region.
