Job Title: Mechanic Job Type: Permanent Location: Sunbury-On-Thames Salary: Negotiable (D.O.E) Hour: 07:30 - 16:000 (Mon - Thurs), 07:30 - 13:00 (Fri) Scope of Role: To complete mechanical assembly work to following technical drawings. Main Duties/Responsibilities: You will be carrying out some of the following duties: Mechanical assembly work Building&assembling of small sub-assemblies. Building Fans/motors&heaters following assembly drawings&instructions. Assembling products to company standards. Ability to use various hand tools such as spanners, screw drivers, allen keys, torque wrenches as well electric power tools. Must be able to use measuring equipment such as Verniers&Micrometers Point to point wiring, crimping of small cables. Soldering of small components Carry out general assembly duties on various products Key Knowledge&Experience: Able to read and understand drawings and or CMMs and or SOP's Able to work from SOPs in tandem with drawings Able to read, write and understand English. Knowledge of tools, i.e. circlip pliers, pliers, screwdrivers, tweezers, scrapers, Swiss files etc Soldering skills on small components Skills on the use of machines, lathes, drills etc Brazing desirable Ability to work in a team Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for BPSS Clearance.
