Reporting directly to the Operations Director, this Applications Engineering position is a great opportunity to work within a strong multi-cultural team, with efficient production and quality processes and high levels of interaction with a very diverse customer and supplier base. What will you do? Be trained to be a technical specialist in tomography systems Take full responsibility for sensor drawings and related documentation Be responsible for sensor inspection and testing before delivery to the customer Provide technical support to a worldwide, process industry customer base Providing commissioning support and training to end users Providing technical support and account management input to the sales team Give technical demos and training across a wide range of process applications What do you need? A degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Process Engineering Some experience in technical support or applications engineering An ability to develop ongoing relationships with customers Some experience using SolidWorks CAD software. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and technical software tools (such as MATLAB) High proficiency in English, both written and oral (additional European languages would be a bonus) Strong work ethic and flexible mind-set A methodical approach to projects with high levels of attention to detail Confident interpersonal skills and able to work well under pressure Able and willing to travel internationally Full UK driving licence To be looking for a medium/long-term position with progression What’s on offer?
