As Head of Data, you’ll lead the modernisation of our data platforms and drive the company’s data strategy as they transition to a cloud-first infrastructure. You’ll build and manage a data team, oversee data governance, ensure platform reliability, and collaborate across departments to deliver impactful solutions and innovation. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a forward-thinking, cloud-first data strategy. Build and lead a high-performing data team to meet business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide the company’s data strategy. Ensure data platforms are optimised for performance, security, and client needs. Integrate data processes with CI/CD pipelines to enhance product delivery. Drive innovation through emerging technologies aligned with business goals. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in data strategy, governance, and team leadership. Expertise in public cloud infrastructure, especially Microsoft Azure. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL platforms. Strong leadership experience, particularly in fintech or financial sectors. Ability to manage 24/7 operations and prioritise diverse projects.
