What you'll do: As a Frontend Engineer, you will be joining one of our squads focused on customers. Our stack is React based following a component based styleguide driven way of working. You will have the opportunity to work on large frontend systems, understanding the design concerns including micro frontends, componentisation and styleguide driven development. * Work on all aspects of the product from ideation through to deployment and maintenance * Follow a build, measure and learn approach to get quick feedback and deliver valuable increments * Work on providing high converting personalised and seamless experiences for customers * Implement design patterns and SOLID principles * Collaborate with other team members using programming techniques such as pairing or mobbing * Monitor and improve performance of conversion-based frontend role * Support with API development using .NET What you bring: As a Frontend Engineer, you bring technical experience as software developer or related role. You have a passion for delivering great experiences to customers with a relentless focus on improving key metrics of the software. You are an entrepreneurial self-starter who is always looking for a better way. Your knowledge extends to backend technologies such as C#. * Degree in Computer Science or related field or vocational equivalent * Strong JavaScript and React skills coupled with knowledge of architecting CSS * Experience working on large frontend systems * Understanding of good quality code, including how to implement design patterns and SOLID principles * Knowledge of A/B testing and associated tooling, Optimizely experience would be a plus * Hands on experience with alerting and monitoring platforms such as Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana stack, Grafana, CloudWatch * .NET Development experience we see the role as a 80/20 split.
