Maintenance Technician Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician?  Do you want to work for a well established company?  Do you want career progression opportunities?  If so, APPLY NOW!  Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with extensive expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering to join our client.  Duties:  Work within the ethos and standards of the company. Troubleshoot and repair of all factory equipment - electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical. Identify the root causes of problems and suggest process improvements.  Ensure production efficiency is maximised and return production to full capacity promptly. Ensure that all breakdowns are recorded in Pemac CMMS system. Carry out Preventative Maintenance work as required by PM schedules and suggest improvements. Maintain systems in place for spare parts stock and ensure system is being correctly utilised. Dismantle, adjust, modify, improve and assemble factory equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating/repair manuals, or drawings. Take an active part in all machine installations, continuous improvements and maintenance projects. Work with Maintenance Manager to address causes of downtime and suggest process improvements. Responsible as part of a bigger team for ensuring that all production&maintenance KPI’s are achieved. Responsible for ensuring a safe, clean working environment and carrying work in a safe manner ensuring safety standards are met. Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management. Undertake training as and when required.  Make yourself available for overtime.  Provide Apprentice&Trainee’s with assistance and guidance in learning and development.  Requirements:  Mechanical/Electrical based apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.  Min 4+ years’ Maintenance Technician experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. Decisive&Ability to make decisions quickly and effectively to meet deadlines.  Excellent numeric and analytical skills.  Highly motivated with proven ability to work on own initiative.  Ability to multi task with strong attention to detail.  Team player who will work with others to achieve company goals.  Methodical with excellent organisational and communication skills.  Excellent problem solving skills.  Ability to multi-task on technical issues.  Working hours are based on a 4-day schedule, with 10-hour shifts, from Monday to Saturday.  Salary: £48,483.55 Per Annum including shift allowance.  This is a Full time, Permanent position.
