Senior Network Engineer, SC Cleared Contract Outside IR35 (Competitive Market Rate) Duration: 12 months + End client based in London (70% remote, with occasional travel to other UK sites) We’re looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to help manage and optimize our client’s network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Manage Network Infrastructure: Configure and maintain Fortinet (certification desirable) and Cisco networks Implement Projects: Collaborate with teams to deliver complex network projects Troubleshoot Issues: Resolve network problems in collaboration with Tier 1/2 teams and external support Provide Expertise: Offer guidance on network-related projects Ensure Security: Maintain a secure and compliant network environment Optimize the Network: Continuously improve network performance Skills and Experience: 3+ years as a Network Engineer with expertise in WAN, LAN, and routing (Fortinet, Cisco) Strong experience with network security (firewalls, proxy, IDS/IPS) Familiarity with wireless controllers (Fortinet, Cisco) and cloud services Knowledge of the ITIL framework Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Experience in technical documentation Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or FortiGate NSE are a plus Applicants must have an existing right to work in the UK and evidence of eligibility will be required.
