Live a life more Virgin.  Our Team  The Compliance&Reporting (C&R) Team have a wide range of responsibilities including owning the COO Sales Competency Framework and assurance of regulated sales across COO, smooth running of governance that demonstrates effective decision making aligned to the Chief Controls Office accountabilities, supporting the risk management activities within CCO and across the Chief Operating Office (COO), including attestations and SME guidance, and overseeing the ongoing embedding of Consumer Duty across the bank.  You’ll provide key support with the development of effective governance and reporting routines and will be responsible for leading, coaching and directing your own team. Given this role cuts across multiple areas of the Bank, we’re looking for self-motivated, proactive individuals who has great communication skills and who is ready to make a real difference. This is a great opportunity to broaden your experience in risk management and build your network across the Group.  What you’ll be doing  Leading a team of talented and multi disciplined professionals who embody our purpose and vision, providing coaching and support.   Performing comprehensive and accurate risk assessments and reporting activity as directed by the Chief Controls Officer.   Leading risk management and control activities on behalf of COO including co-ordination of key inputs, challenge and reachingenterprise agreement on key compliance issues and assumptions.  Leading the smooth running of CCO governance, including the Customer and Conduct Forum and preparation of papers for submission to Group Governance Committees and Board.  Supporting delivery across a wide range of areas including coordination of compliance activities, regular reporting and governance outputs, and Consumer Duty reporting.   Building strong relationships with the Leadership Team across the organisation, sharing expertise and support the business, supporting a strong risk culture  Maintaining the banks’ Conduct Framework, Consumer Duty Standards and MyLearning content ensuring they remain valid, in line with latest emphasis from the FCA, and are continuously improving the delivery of outcomes, beyond a ‘minimum’.  We need you to have  Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, leadand develop colleagues as you create an inclusive team.  Experience operating at a senior level, delivering through others and managing relationships.  Knowledge of Conduct risk and regulations, and the purpose and intent of Consumer Duty.  Experience of managing governance and decision-making frameworks and good knowledge of Corporate Governance Committee Frameworks and reporting standards.  Significant experience in delivering risk management activities, with proven strong knowledge of Risk Management and Policy frameworks/methodologies and the 3 Lines of Defence Model. The abilityto work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines with strong organisation and prioritisation skills.  Red Hot Rewards Generous holidays - 38.5 days annual leave (including bank holidays and prorated if part-time)​ plus the option to buy more.
