Senior Electrical Design Engineer Our client is a thriving and vibrant practice of mechanical and electrical consulting engineers. They are now looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join them on a full time, permanent basis due to their growth. Successful candidates will be Chartered, have the requisite qualifications to obtain Chartered Engineer status, or be close to achieving them. They will have a flexible attitude and be comfortable working on a number of projects simultaneously, from inception to completion. Senior Electrical Design Engineer Position Overview * Prepare calculations in Hevacomp, Dialux (or similar), produce electrical designs without assistance. * Carrying out surveys, preparing reports/specifications. * Communicate effectively to clients * Working on multiple concurrent projects at once. * Undertake surveys and condition reports * Prepare feasibility studies and cost plans * Prepare electrical designs (detailed design) and prepare tender documents. * Attend design, client and site meetings. * Supervise and mentor junior members of staff. * Act as Contract administrator on electrical lead projects. * Work as part of a team in multidisciplinary jobs.
