Salary: 80- 100 per day, based on experience. Location: Waltham Forest, East London. Start Date: Immediate. As an SEN Teaching Assistant , you will work closely with a Key Stage 1 pupil with ASD , providing structured support to help them engage with learning and develop key skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 classroom support , ensuring personalised learning experiences. Use visual aids, sensory strategies, and structured routines to engage the pupil. Support the child's social and emotional development , encouraging confidence and independence. Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to implement tailored learning plans . Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents. What We're Looking For: Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant , Learning Support Assistant, or in a similar role. A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children with SEN. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A passion for working with children and a commitment to inclusive education .
