Regional Specifications Manager - Building Insulation (Construction Manufacturing)£55,000 - £65,000 Salary (Car or Car Allowance and Bonuses) INCREDIBLE contractual benefits London Region Role We are absolutely thrilled to be working alongside our Award Winning Facades / Building Envelopes Manufacturing client as we look to recruit for a Regional Specifications Manager to join their UK wide team, covering all North West based clients. Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds. This role is a business critical role and we are looking to get you started in your new role ASAP. The primary function of this this role is to support the sales strategy of our Insulation Limited Group, focusing on interacting with Architects and Supply Chain customers to the benefit of both businesses. You are the face of the business for these channels, supplying a professional, responsive and positive service to customers, putting out Customers First at all times. Your Key Responsibilities • As a Regional Specification Manager (RSM), you will be responsible for the management of Architects and Supply Chain customers within your nominated region. • To create demand via specification for our product portfolio and system solutions to ensure growth in all relevant applications. • Seekand develop new opportunities with targeted specifiers, design teams, and architects to add to the portfolio. • Collaborate with the commercial teams ensuring orders are fulfilled, including onsite support when required. Develop and maintain relationships within Architectural and Strategic Partner accounts at all levels - executive, office and site • Manage and maintain a current project listing by partner and manage their forthcoming project pipeline to provide a forecast to the Group. • Become a trusted advisor within each targeted customer channel representing the Group. Experience and Qualifications • Relevant Previous Experience within a similar position. • Professional Technical Qualification to support the role (desired). Technical Knowledge and Skills • Implement an account sales plan with your nominated customers (Architects and Supply Chain Customers) to meet the requirements, overall targets and expectations of the company’s sales strategy. • Management of the day-to-day tasks necessary for the successful running of our supply chain agreements, pipelines and future collaborations • Manage time effectively in the field by spending at least 4 working days in front of customers. • Develop and maintain in depth knowledge of market and sectors, especially relating to market trends, opportunities, threats, and competitors’ activities; and providing appropriate communication and direction to internal departments. • Gain an understandingof your customers’ wants and needs then support them to deliver growth for both businesses. • Develop close relationships with customers continually adding value to such relationships, thereby ensuring continued customer loyalty (solution sales and pull demand). • Provide solutions for identified end users and monitor the build programme with the aim to convert to a secured project. • Fully utilising the CRM system and ensuring all relevant data is up to date at all times. • Work closely and collaborate with External Sales (RFM/RSM/KAM/BDM), Customer Services, Marketing, Technical Services and Site Services to co-ordinate and drive activities to maximise effective closure of opportunities • Develop and maintain thorough product, systems and application knowledge. • Complete and submit sales reports and associated administrative tasks accurately and on time • Maintain a detailed and up to date customer portfolio and pipeline. • Encourage and support promotional events to increase business opportunities. • Deliver training presentations to user groups when required and agree to implement follow-up activities that will lead to winning opportunities. •Attend events and exhibitions when required to represent the brands and seek new prospecting business.
