Our client, a leading removals company is looking for a Operations Assistant to join their office in London. You will work per the instructions and guidelines issued by the current operational assistant but will primarily be responsible for processing the paperwork and closing removal files. Knowledge, Skills and Experience• Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders via email, over the phone or in person. Ensuring prompt assistance with queries and advising the Operations Manager necessary. • Good IT abilities including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) • Ability to identify and resolve problems • Ability to manage and prioritize jobs • Good organizational skills with attention to detail and a professional mindset. Key Responsibilities • Prepare damage reports following Company Procedure • Administer order for crates • Book overnight accommodation and arrange night-out money for road crews • Monitor and respond to email in a timely fashion • Assist with closing down removal files under Company procedure and forwarding them to the relevant department. • To ensure all paperwork is correctly completed by crews and office staff • Debrief crews when they return to the yard. • Daily allocations for road crew via Moveware • Generate POs and assist subcontractors with their weekly workings. • Respond to requests for Information and project support as and when required by colleagues within the Operations team and across all departments. • Work collaboratively with other departments across the company; dealing with queries as required • Provide materials list to warehouse daily and work closely with warehouse operatives • Provide holiday/ absence cover within the
