This is most important in our line of work. As a nursery nurse apprentice, you will provide essential support to individuals in need, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. You will be become competent in the following tasks: * rovide care, encouragement, and support to children aged 0–5 years, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and engaged throughout their day. * Assist in planning and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, creating a fun, stimulating, and educational environment. * Help children with social and physical development through play andlearning activities. * Ensure the nursery space is safe, clean, and well-organized, adhering to health and safety regulations. * Work closely with other staff members to monitor the progress and well-being of each child. * Communicate with parents and guardians regarding their child's progressand address any concerns or questions. * Support children with daily activities, such as feeding, dressing, and toileting. * Encourage children to develop confidence, independence, and social skills. Skills: * Genuine love for working with young children. * Excellent communication skills toengage with children, parents, and colleagues. * Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to plan age-appropriate activities. * Patience, creativity, and empathy when working with children of diverse backgrounds. * A good sense of humour and positive attitude when working in a dynamic, ever-changing environment. * Ability to work as part of a team, while also being proactive and independent in daily tasks. Minimum Requirements: * Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. * Lived experience working with children, either in a formal or informal setting. * Right to work in the UK. * Willingness to complete nursery-specific training programs. * Strong communication skills—both written and verbal. * Ability to work under pressure while keeping a positive outlook.
