HDS Consultancy is partnering with a market-leading MEP contractor based in London to find a highly skilled Senior Project Manager– Mechanical bias - to join their dynamic team. As Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operational delivery of large-scale, multi-disciplinary commercial projects, covering all stages from design and procurement to installation, logistics, compliance, commissioning, and final handover. Working within a collaborative team, you’ll be ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while adhering to the company’s core values and governance protocols. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure full compliance with all design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes, maintaining high standards across all phases. * Add value to the design process by offering innovative solutions that improve buildability, streamline construction, and reduce overall life-cycle costs. * Lead the implementation and enforcement of project controls, ensuring effective project governance and compliance throughout. * Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned, driving continuous improvement for future projects. * Develop and monitor comprehensive end-to-end project plans, including setting key milestones, deliverables, and managing contingencies where necessary. * Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of the project, including financial forecasting, CVR, and profit improvement plans. Desired Experience&Skills: * Extensive experience managing large commercial mechanical projects, ideally with a combined project value of approximately£25M. * In-depth knowledge of managing multiple project disciplines and interfaces, with a focus on optimizing work sequencing and integration. * Proven track record in delivering large-scale mechanical contracts on time and within commercial parameters, while maintaining high-quality standards. * Health&Safety certifications, with a minimum of SMSTS, and a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
