When you join them, you’ll work on some of the world's most exciting financial operations and business deals, building your experience and expertise alongside the brightest minds in the industry.    We’ll help you succeed   Our clientstrust us because of the quality of our advice.  That quality grows from a thorough understanding of their business, and that understanding comes from working closely with clients and building long-lasting relationships.    You’ll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks,but you’ll also be confident collaborating with others, communicating regularly with senior managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners to enable us to serve our clients effectively.  You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to our clients.  Overview This is a exciting opportunity to provide contractual and risk management support within BDO’s International Institutions and Donor Assurance (IIDA) Department, which undertakes a range of engagements delivered to organisations funding and implementinginternational development and humanitarian aid projects. IIDA delivers engagements around the world, using personnel from a range of sources: London-based employees; overseas-based contractors; and BDO Network Office employees. IIDA clients are global, and they include supranational entities suchas the United Nations and the European Commission national entities funding development projects, such as the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and Germany’s GIZ international NGOs, private sector charitable foundations, and governments in partner countries IIDA services are often delivered to clients in partnership with other suppliers. This role involves working side by side with partners and teams: reviewing and negotiating individual clauses in client, supplier and partner contracts and client imposed terms to mitigate the firm’s exposure to risk whilst bearingin mind the commercial environment in which the team operates.
