Finance Officer Location North-East London Contract Temporary 6-month initial Rate 20-22 per hour umbrella Start Date ASAP Hybrid Working Contact greg waite servicecare org uk Job Description Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in London for a Finance Officer to join the Education Finance team on a temporary basis The postholder will be responsible for the management of overall financial resources and procedures for SEND ensuring that these meet the requirements of the Financial Framework and the implementation of the new Schools Funding Arrangements 2013 including responsibility for SEN transport finance and post 16 transport finance The postholder will also be responsible for SEN delegation recoupment contingency claims income and expenditure i-procurement including transport budget and managing external contracts Candidate Criteria Experience in SEN Education Finance is highly preferred 5 GCSEs A-C grade as a minimum with relevant finance qualification preferred Experience of using MS Office applications and working within specified deadlines Experience of working with SIMS Financial Management System Oracle or Synergy would be highly desirable Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team If you are interested in the role or know of anyone who may be please contact Greg at Service Care Solutions on 01772 208969 or email greg waite serv
