We’ll help you succeed The work we do is underpinned by quality. We deliver audits which are trusted and transparent which can be relied upon by companies and their stakeholders. You’ll be someone who is comfortable working pro-actively and, managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners. You’ll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value.  Within the last year, we have increased our audit headcount by more than 250 people (14%), invested heavily in new partners, and commenced a significant investment programme in our central quality support team, including our Technical Standards Group (TSG). Due to this continued investment, we are recruiting for Senior Managers within this team As experts on a wide number of issues, our Technical Standards Group (TSG) provides support to our client-facing specialists in audit/assurance and other business streams. From being on-hand to help with complex enquiries, to implementing and advising on policy and processes, TSG are the people tasked with finding solutions to some ofour teams’ most complex technical issues. As part of this supportive and knowledgeable team, you’ll have a chance to use and develop your technical skills and experience, find solutions to technical queries and contribute daily to the firm’s commitment to deliver high quality output. As part of the Audit Advisory team, providing advice and ensuring compliance with ISAs and the firm’s audit and assurance methodology. This role will have a focuson developing new methodology in the exciting and emerging are of ESG reporting and assurance and the nature and extent of the assurance services the firm offers. This may include (but isn’t limited to): Working closely with other members of our Audit Advisory and Financial Reporting Advisory teams to co-ordinate the development and enhancement of our ESG audit and assurance approach   Supporting global initiatives to enhance and implement BDO Global ESG assurance methodology Capacity building through training and knowledge sharing Supporting Climate&Sustainability team with digital and data analytics solutions, thought leadership and other methodology projects Collaboration with BDO ESG networks in the UK and globally The successful candidate will work with our audit reporting team to consider: The nature of services the firm offers in this area and how this interacts with the audit service offering Working with non-audit service lines to establish appropriate terms of engagement Developing policy and guidance as concerns reporting on ESG.
